Played in 12 games, starting the first eight...ranked sixth on the team with 57 tackles...second on the team in pass breakups (6) and forced fumbles (3)...had the best game of his career at Missouri (9/20) with eight tackles, two for loss, two forced fumbles and a pass breakup...named Defensive Player of the Week by MAC Report Online (9/22)...had a season-high nine tackles against Western Michigan (10/11)...had seven tackles against Ohio (10/28)...had six solo tackles, a pass breakup and forced a fumble that was returned 92 yards by Mike Newton for a touchdown against Ball State in the MAC Championship game.

FRESHMAN (2007)
Played in 11 games and earned the start four times for an injured Kendric Hawkins…had 45 tackles (29 solo), and interception and four pass breakups on the season…had a pair of tackles and a pass breakup against Ball State (9/29)…had nine tackles against Ohio (10/4)…had a season-high 10 tackles (eight solo) and a pair of pass breakups against Toledo (10/13)…had six tackles and an interception against Syracuse (10/20)…had four tackles and a pass breakup against Miami (OH) (11/3).

HIGH SCHOOL
A first-team All-District selection for coach Joey McGuire at Cedar Hill HS while helping the Longhorns earn a pair of district championships...racked up 109 tackles, five pass breakups, four interceptions and a fumble recovery in his senior season...set school records for 40-yard dash time and vertical jump and also set the 300-meter hurdles record.
