Made an immediate impact as a freshman and will battle for a starting spot in 2009...chose Buffalo for the atmosphere and the opportunity to play right away.

Freshman (2008)
Saw action in the final 12 games and started once...had 17 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack...added a quarterback hurry and two fumble recoveries...had a pair of tackles, including a half tackle for loss, against Central Michigan (9/27)...had four tackles against Army (10/18)...recovered a fumble in the fourth overtime to set up the game-winning field goal against Akron (11/13)...had a season-high six tackles, including a sack against Bowling Green (11/21)...had a pair of tackles against Connecticut in the International Bowl.

High School
Suffered a serious leg injury during his senior season, but was nominated for the McDonald’s All-Star Game, the Big 33 (Ohio vs. Pennsylvania) and East-West All-Star games...an All-State selection as a junior for coach Eric Sampson while starring as both an offensive and defensive tackle...was twice a captain, while earning four letters...also earned four letters in wrestling.
