Originally walked on to the program before earning a scholarship his freshman year...his 27 career field goals are already third in school history...holds the school record for points scored by a kicker (161)...holds the school record for career extra points (80)...can handle kickoff duties as well.

SOPHOMORE (2008)
Started all 14 games as the Bulls’ kicker...converted 12-of-17 field goals on the season...converted 48-of-52 extra points...his 84 points scored on the season broke his own school record for points scored by kicking in a season...converted nine of his final 11 field goals on the season...made the game-winning 34-yard field goal in overtime against Army (10/18)...had a season-high three field goals, including the game-winning 40-yarder in the fourth overtime against Akron (11/13)...went 2-for-2, including a 38-yard field goal against Connecticut in the International Bowl...was 2-for-2 on onside kicks on the year.
FRESHMAN (2007)
Set a then school record for a kicker with 77 points…hit 15-of-20 field goals for the season, including nine straight at one point…connected on 32-of-34 PATs in the finest freshman season by a kicker in UB’s history…Principe accounted for all of UB’s points with four field goals at Syracuse (10/20)…named MAC East Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts vs. the Orange…hit a season-long 47-yard field goal at Miami (OH) (11/3)…was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goal attempts at Kent State (11/24)…connected on 12 of his last 13 kicks of the season…named Sporting News Freshman All-America Honorable Mention.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned three letters for head coach Bob Jacoby at St. Francis DeSales High School...converted 9-of-13 field goal attempts his senior year...his long field goal was 48 yards...was a perfect 44-of-44 on extra points as a senior...named All-State Honorable Mention and first-team All-League as a senior...played in the Central Ohio All-Star Game.
