Quick, strong defensive tackle who has settled in as a starter on the defensive line after working with the offensive line in 2007...also an outstanding wrestler who placed fourth at the New England Championships as a junior...chose Buffalo because of the coaching staff.

Started all 14 games at defensive tackle...had 28 tackles, including 15 solo efforts...his 6.5 tackles for loss ranked third on the team...added a quarterback hurry, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery...had three tackles, a tackle for loss and fumble recovery at Missouri (9/20)...had a season-high four tackles, including one for a loss against Central Michigan (9/27)...had three tackles (2.5 for loss) against Bowling Green (11/21)...had three tackles, half a sack, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery against Connecticut in the International Bowl.

SOPHOMORE (2007)
Sat out the season as a redshirt.

FRESHMAN (2006)
Appeared in seven games and made his first career start at Boston College (10/28)...made nine total tackles on the year...recorded a solo tackle against Auburn (9/23)...had a career-high five tackles, four solos and a forced fumble against Ohio (10/21)...registered two tackles against Boston College.

HIGH SCHOOL
Outstanding two-way player on both sides of the line of scrimmage at Trumbull High for coach Bob Nassei...led his team to a 10-2 record and a conference title as a senior while starting both ways...racked up 65 tackles, six sacks and caused a pair of fumbles as a senior while earning All-State honors.
