Athletic player who will be looked upon to provide depth to a talented linebacker corps...good quickness and strength...interest in Buffalo came after seeing the Bulls play a strong game at Big Ten member Minnesota in 2002...has volunteered his time to St. Patrick’s Church, Karen House and St. Elizabeth Adult Daycare in his hometown of St. Louis...chose Buffalo because “they have a good medical school and I’ll have a chance to play Division I football while earning a prestigious degree.”
JUNIOR (2006)
Appeared in nine games as a reserve linebacker...registered four tackles on the year...had a pair of tackles against Central Michigan (11/24)...also had a tackle against Auburn (9/23) and Ball State (10/7).
SOPHOMORE (2005)
Appeared in nine games on the season...totaled eight tackles, including three solo...tied a career-high with three tackles at Connecticut (9/1)...notched a pair of tackles against both Miami (OH) (11/5) and Eastern Michigan (11/19)...registered his first career tackle for loss against Miami (OH).
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2004)
Served as a backup linebacker and on special teams and saw action in nine games...
totaled eight tackles...had a season-best three tackles against Ohio (9/25) and
Connecticut (11/20)...also recorded a tackle against Akron (10/9) and Marshall (10/23)
...blocked a punt against Connecticut (11/20).
FRESHMAN (2003)
Redshirted in his first season at Buffalo.
HIGH SCHOOL
A St. Louis Dispatch All-Metro selection who had 108 tackles and 12 sacks as a senior
for coach Ron Villars while being named team MVP at Cardinal Ritter HS...a four-year
letterwinner who was twice a captain, he led the Lions to a conference title as a junior
...also earned letters in track and field in the triple jump, long jump and hurdles.
