Hard-nosed cornerback with great athleticism...enters spring drills as a starting cornerback after starting 23 games in his career, including all 14 last season... former teammate of current Bull Naaman Roosevelt, who factored in his decision to come to Buffalo as well as playing in his hometown and for head coach Turner Gill and his staff.

SOPHOMORE (2008)
Started all 14 games at cornerback...led the team in interceptions (3), pass breakups (7) and fumble recoveries (4)...led the MAC in fumble recoveries...ranked fourth on the team in tackles with 76...had a forced fumble...had 11 tackles (7 solo) and an interception at Pittsburgh (9/6)...had nine tackles, a pass breakup and returned a fumble 23 yards at Missouri (9/20)...had five tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery at Ohio (10/28)...had a career-high 12 tackles (10 solo) and three pass breakups against Miami (OH) (11/4)...had an interception to seal the victory against Ball State in the MAC Championship game...had a tackle for loss against Connecticut in the International Bowl.
FRESHMAN (2007)
Started the first nine games of the season before a hand injury sidelined him for the remaining three games…totaled 58 tackles in nine games (6.4 average)…had three pass breakups on the year…one of only two true freshmen to start the first game of the season (Connacher)….had six tackles (all solo) at Penn State (9/15)…had seven tackles (six solo) against Ohio (10/4)…had a season-high 11 tackles (seven solo), 0.5 tackles for loss and a blocked kick against Toledo (10/13)…had eight tackles (six solo) at Syracuse (10/20).
HIGH SCHOOL
Hard-nosed cornerback with great athleticism...an All-Western New York and All-State selection who had over 50 catches and 13 touchdowns for coach Bob O’Connor of the Marauders...set the school record for most receptions and also led the team in tackles on defense...a four-year letterwinner who is also an outstanding basketball player...also an outstanding kick returner, helping St. Joe’s go 18-4 in his final two years...named Defensive Player of the Game in the 2007 Governer’s Bowl (NY vs. NJ).
