Has played both the fullback and tight end position in his career...played primarily tight end last season...chose UB because of the coaching staff and an opportunity to play...son of Notre Dame men’s basketball head coach Mike Brey.

SOPHOMORE (2008)
Played in all 14 games and started three at tight end...outstanding run blocker...had five catches on the season for 31 yards...had a career-best three catches for 21 yards against Temple (9/13)...had a pair of receptions against Western Michigan (10/11)...his long reception of the year was nine yards.

REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN (2007)
Played in the first nine games of the season before a foot injury sidelined him for the remainder of the year…registered two catches on the season…had one catch for two yards at Penn State (9/15) and one catch for four yards at Ball State (9/29).

FRESHMAN (2006)
Redshirted in his first season at Buffalo.

HIGH SCHOOL
Big, strong H-back type who earned All-State honors in Indiana as both a junior and senior...member of South Bend Tribune “Dream Team”...outstanding blocker who helped coach Cory Yeoman’s team to a 21-5 record in his final two seasons and a pair of conference and sectional titles...team-high bench press of 355 pounds...has also lettered in basketball and track and field...an Indiana Football Coaches Association first-team selection.
