Should return to starting linebacker spot...transfer from Iowa Wesleyan College...chose UB because of the academic programs and because it’s close to home.

SOPHOMORE (2008)
Started all 13 games in which he played...ranked fifth on the team in tackles with 71...had 39 solo stops...had 3.5 tackles for loss...tied for second on the team with three quarterback hurries...had a forced fumble and two recoveries...had eight tackles in his first career game against UTEP (8/28)...had a season-high three tackles for loss at Pittsburgh (9/6)...had six tackles, a forced fumble and a quarterback hurry against Western Michigan (10/11)...had eight tackles (all solo), a quarterback hurry and a fumble recovery against Ball State in the MAC Championship game.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Played one season for head coach Jason Smelser at Iowa Wesleyan...in 10 games he had 19 tackles, including 12 solo efforts and a half sack.

HIGH SCHOOL
Earned two letters while playing linebacker and tight end for head coach David Diaz at Christopher Columbus High School...totaled 83 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception his senior season...named to the All-Borough Team...also played soccer in high school.
