BUFFALO, NY - Thirteen seniors will say goodbye to UB Stadium on Saturday, as the University at Buffalo takes on Central Michigan in Buffalo's final home game of the year.

Buffalo (1-8 overall, 1-6 Mid-American Conference) is looking for its first win in four games on Senior Day in Amherst. The senior contingent is led by the three captains in wide receiver Matt Knueven (Cincinnati, OH/LaSalle), who leads the team in receiving with 27 catches for 286 yards, defensive back J.J. Gibson (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home), who leads the team in tackles with 90 and fumble recoveries with three, and offensive lineman Eric Zeppuhar (Allison Park, PA/Shaler).

Knueven needs 48 more yards to move into eighth place in UB's career receiving yards list. Gibson currently ranks 22nd in the nation in total tackles and is third in the MAC in stops per game (10.0). With 29 tackles in his final two games, Gibson will take first place in UB history in career tackles.

Senior tight end Brian Miller (Santa Clarita, CA/Valencia) also has 10 receptions this year for 92 yards, including a touchdown.

Central Michigan (3-6 overall, 2-4 MAC) is looking to rebound after a heartbreaking 61-58, four-overtime loss to rival Eastern Michigan on Saturday. Junior quarterback Kent Smith tied a school-record with five touchdown passes, as he completed 24-of-35 passes for 319 yards and rushed for 39 more on 14 carries.

The recipient of many of Smith's passes was Justin Harper, who caught 10 passes for three touchdowns and 116 yards. On the ground, Central Michigan's Jerry Seymour is 14 yards shy of crossing 1,000 yards for the second straight year. The 5-6, 190-pound running back has 13 100-yard games in his career and was a first team The Sporting News Freshman All-American last year.

Kickoff is at 1:30 pm on Saturday and all of the action can be heard locally on WGR 550 or on the web at www.buffalobulls.com. Individual tickets (from $12 to $22) are available at Tops Friendly Markets, UB's Alumni Arena Ticket Office or online at buffalobulls.com and tickets.com. Children 16-and-younger will receive a 12-inch Shrek 2 plush giveaway of Donkey or Puss in Boots, courtesy of the Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Company.
