Jesse Imes Named to Academic All-District Team

Junior defensive back earns first team honors

BUFFALO, NY - Jesse Imes (Cincinnati, OH/Kings Mills) was named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District football team. The team is made up of 25 players from Division I programs from New England, New York and Pennsylvania.

Imes, who earned Academic All-MAC honors last season, ranks seventh on the team with 43 tackles this year. The Bulls' defensive back has an interception and two pass break-ups on the season. His three fumble recoveries lead the team and he is one shy of the single-season school record.

A pharmacy major, Imes sports a 3.49 grade point average. He will now be placed on the national ballot for a chance at garnering Academic All-America honors.
