BUFFALO, NY - The Buffalo Bills announced today that former UB standout Omari Jordan (Cleveland, OH/Collingwood) has been signed to the team's practice squad.

Jordan, 6-6, 305, was signed as a free agent by the Baltimore Ravens last April and was on the Ravens' practice squad until the past few weeks.

In a league where big, strong run stuffers have come in vogue in recent years, Jordan filled just that role for the Bulls in his two seasons after transferring from Vermilion (MN) Junior College. The Cleveland native recorded 24 total tackles as a senior - four of them for losses - and tied for the team lead with two forced fumbles while starting all 11 games.

Jordan joins two other UB products on NFL rosters. All-time leading receiver Drew Haddad is currently with the Indianapolis Colts while offensive tackle Ed Ellis is with the San Diego Chargers.
