BUFFALO, NYNaaman Roosevelt was named the Mid-American Conference East Division Offensive Player of the Week on Monday following his sparkling play against Temple.

Roosevelt had eight catches for 132 yards and caught a 35-yard hail mary with no time left to lift the Bulls to a 30-28 win over Temple on Saturday. He also had a 20-yard reception on the game-winning drive before making the touchdown grab. His eight catches were a game high and his 132 receiving yards were the most by any MAC player on the week.

Roosevelt ranks third in the MAC and seventh in the nation in receiving yards per game (117). He has posted 100-yard receiving games in two of the Bulls' three outings on the season.

It marks the second time in his career that the junior receiver has earned Player of the Week honors. Roosevelt was named the MAC Special Teams Player of the Week as a freshman.

Buffalo has had a player honored by the MAC in two of the first three weeks of the season. Quarterback Drew Willy was named Offensive Player of the Week following week one.
