UB-Marshall Game To Air Live on Empire Sports Network

Empire once again the home of “Bulls Football Focus”

BUFFALO, NY - The Empire Sports Network has announced plans to broadcast live the University at Buffalo's football game at Marshall on September 30 at 7:00 p.m. The Thundering Herd are coming off an undefeated 13-0 season in 1999 that included a 21-3 victory over BYU in the Motor City Bowl.

Marshall ended the 1999 season ranked 10th nationally in both the AP and ESPN/USA Today polls, and currently owns the nation's longest winning streak at 17 games. Marshall leads the all-time series with UB, 3-1 and the Bulls have not visited Marshall since 1964.

For the sixth consecutive season, Empire will also be home to "Bulls Football Focus," which will air on Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m. this fall. The show, featuring head coach Craig Cirbus, profiles Bulls' players, recaps the previous week's game, and previews UB's upcoming opponent. Paul Vecchio, UB's Assistant Athletic Director for Communications, once again hosts the show.

The first show will air on Tuesday, August 29th with a preview of UB's much-anticipated game with Syracuse as well as a season preview. The program will not be seen on October 17th, due to the Bull's bye week.
