UB Football Coaches' Wives to Present "Football Uncomplicated!"

Proceeds from the event will benefit Cornerstone Manor

BUFFALO, NY - Head coach Jim Hofher's wife Cathy and the rest of the University at Buffalo's football coaches' wives will present "Football Uncomplicated!" on Thursday, August 26 from 5:30-9:00 pm at UB Stadium. The event is designed to teach the basics of college football and will raise money for Cornerstone Manor, a women and children's shelter associated with the City Mission.

The program begins with a tailgate party, featuring favorite pregame recipes, and will be followed by an exclusive "behind the scenes" tour of UB Stadium. The basics of football, including a look at offense, defense, special teams and down and distance, will be discussed and UB head coach Jim Hofher will be on hand for a question and answer session. A college official will explain penalties, and fans will get a look at the equipment needed to play the game.

In addition to the program, the $10 donation to the Cornerstone Manor includes a playbook, a T-shirt, a certificate and tickets to a 2004 UB football game. There will also be prizes and raffles throughout the evening.

Space is limited for this special event. To register, call Dawn Reed at 716-645-6263. A brochure and registration form can also be downloaded from the web at www.buffalobulls.com/events/fbuncomplicated.shtml.
