BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo athletic department will hold a "Select-A-Seat" night for the 2003 football season on Wednesday, July 30th at UB Stadium. The event will run from 5-8 pm.

Several Bulls' football players will be on hand to meet and greet fans as they select their seats for the 2003 season. The Bulls will play a six-game home schedule in 2003, starting on Saturday, Sept. 13 when they host cross-state rival Colgate.

A full promotional calendar as well as great Division I-A football awaits fans in Western New York this fall. Season tickets start as low as $50 and go up to $85 per seat. Season ticket holders will also receive several added bonuses throughout the year. As part of Homecoming Weekend, season ticket holders will receive complimentary tickets to the Pendragons: Masters of Illusion performance at Alumni Arena on Friday, October 17th and will also earn a voucher to receive a Victoria S. Bull bobblehead at the Oct. 25 game versus Ohio University.

In addition to the hard-hitting action of UB football, fans will also have plenty of other reasons to come out to UB Stadium this fall. In the home opener versus Colgate, Grammy-award winning singer Shaggy will perform during a special halftime show sponsored by Tops Markets and the UB Student Association.

The Sept. 20 game versus Connecticut will be paired with UB's Extreme Zone II, featuring extreme sports megastars Dave Mirra, Ryan Nyquist, Bucky Lasek and Bob Burnquist, who will perform a special show at 3:30 pm and again at halftime of the game. Tickets for the Ski Market UB Extreme Zone II are $25 and includes a ticket to the Bulls-UConn game that kicks off at 6 pm.

The September 27 game versus Akron is "Automania Night" and will feature a special appearance by legendary monster truck "Bigfoot." The five-time Mid-American Conference champion Marshall Thundering Herd comes to Buffalo for a Homecoming weekend battle on October 18.

The home finale will be fan appreciation day on Nov. 8 against Northern Illinois. All fans in attendance will get the first chance to buy tickets for the 2004 home opener against Syracuse in a special pre-sale event.
