Bulls Caravan Ready To Hit The Road

Buffalo football players to appear in community for 12 straight days

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo Bulls Football Caravan is scheduled to make 14 live appearances in the Western New York community and 11 live media appearances during a 12-day span from July 18-29.

The Bulls Football Caravan is designed to raise awareness of UB football and give members of the UB football program a chance to interact with the Western New York community. Six UB football players, Bob Dzvonick (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler), Derrick Gordon (Brooklyn, NY/August Martin), Joe Freedy (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park), Craig Rohlfs (Cincinnati, OH/Moeller), Chris Shelly (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler), and Duane Williams (Detroit, MI/Denby), as well as Buffalo's mascot, Victor E. Bull, and members of the University at Buffalo athletic department will be on hand at each scheduled stop to meet and greet fans.

"The Bulls Caravan provides a unique opportunity to introduce the Western New York community to the 2001 Bulls football team," said Senior Assistant Athletic Director for External Relations John Lambert. "It also provides our student-athletes with a forum to participate in various community-based activities."

The Bulls Caravan kicks off on Wednesday, July 18 with media appearances on AM Buffalo, WNSA Radio and Empire Sports Network.
