UB Football Back on WGR-55

Bulls to be on Entercom station for fourth straight year; Kevin Sylvester to call games

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo's football games will be broadcast on WGR-550 (AM) for the fourth consecutive season this fall.

The games will air live on WGR-550 and can also be listened to on the web at UB's athletic site (www.buffalobulls.com). Kevin Sylvester, half of the WGR morning show of "Kevin and the Bulldog" will call all the action this season, sliding down from his color analyst slot last year. Sylvester had previously called UB football play-by-play for Adelphia 13.

Joining Sylvester on the home broadcasts will be UB Hall of Fame quarterback Cliff Scott. Scott, who still holds most of the Bulls' career passing marks, ushered in UB's Division I era after a sparkling career at Grand Island HS. For the Bulls' road games, Sylvester will be joined by Paul Vecchio, UB's Assistant Athletic Director for Communications.

This year's games will feature a 30 minute pre-game show, hosted by WGR's Brian Koziol, with pre-game analysis by head coach Jim Hofher, player features and interviews, an opponent scouting report and all the information you need to get ready for Bulls' football.

After the game, you can hear the post-game comments of Coach Hofher and players as well as the highlights of the game.
