Turner Gill to Host Football Camps at Maritime College

UB football staff to hold a coaching clinic and a player camp at Maritime

BUFFALO, NY – Reigning Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year Turner Gill and his staff will be conducting a football clinic at Maritime College. The two-day event will feature a coaches clinic and a player camp.

On Friday, June 13, Gill and the UB staff, along with the Maritime football staff, will provide a clinic for football coaches. The clinic, held on the campus of Maritime College, will present topics on offense, defense, special teams and strength and conditioning. Clinic registration will begin at 4:00 p.m. with sessions starting at 4:30 p.m. The cost of the clinic is $25, which includes dinner, and walk up registrations are welcome.

The following day, the Buffalo coaching staff will host a one-day player camp at Maritime College. The camp will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will focus on basic offensive and defensive fundamentals in a non-padded environment for players entering grades 9-12. The cost for the player camp is $35. This will be the second-straight year in which Gill and his staff have hosted a player camp at Maritime.
