BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo football team will hold its annual Blue and White Scrimmage on Saturday afternoon at UB Stadium. The event is free to the public with kickoff slated for 2:30 pm.

Fans are welcome to come out and get an early glimpse of the 2008 UB football team as the Bulls looked to build on their five-win campaign and share of the Mid-American Conference East Division Regular Season title in 2007.

Due to a smaller roster, it will not be a true scrimmage, but predetermined situations where both the offense and defense will be eligible to earn points.

Led by 2007 MAC Coach of the Year Turner Gill, the Bulls have 18 starters returning, including quarterback Drew Willy (Randolph, NJ/Randolph), running back James Starks (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) , wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt (Buffalo, NY/St. Joseph’s) and safety Davonte Shannon (Jeannette, PA/Jeannette) .

Fans interested in purchasing season tickets will be able to select their seat on Saturday. Fans can also enjoy the Tim Horton’s Kid Zone and $1 hot dogs will be served.
