Buffalo Releases its Football Signees
Gill’s fourth recruiting class features 23 players
BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo head football coach Turner Gill has announced his initial signees for the 2009 recruiting class on the first day of the National Signing period.
Fresh off a Mid-American Conference championship season, Gill will add 23 players - his largest recruiting class since coming to Buffalo. Along with six players from New York, the Bulls received five commitments from the state of Florida and four from the state of Texas.
It is a very balanced recruiting class with 12 offensive players and 11 defensive players.
“The 2009 Recruiting Class is defined by athleticism, size, physicality and explosiveness,” Gill said. “They will continue to assist us in claiming future MAC Championships and Bowl games.”
