BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo head football coach Turner Gill has announced the addition of two student-athletes to the Bulls’ football program effective for the spring semester.

Kenneth Scott (Charlotte, NC/T.L. Hanna/Georgia Military College) and Darius Willis (Houston, TX/Eisenhower) have enrolled at UB and will participate in spring practices.

Scott, a 6-0, 295-pound nose tackle, is a junior college transfer from Georgia Military College where he played two seasons for head coach Bert Williams and will have two years of eligibility remaining. In 2008, he had 17.5 tackles (11.5 solo), 6.5 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks over nine games. He originally hails from Charlotte, NC where he played at T.L. Hanna High School. He was a four-year letterwinner and two-year team captain for the Yellow Jackets.

Willis (6-3, 220 lbs.) is a very competitive and smart playmaker who played both quarterback and linebacker for head coach Darrell Phipps at Eisenhower High School. He was named first-team All-District after registering 130 tackles and a pair of interceptions his senior season. He was named second-team All-State by 5A Texas Football.com. Willis was listed among Max Emfinger's Top 250 Playmakers in the Nation entering his senior season.
