Mills, who has started 23 consecutive games for the Bulls, earned the distinction for his work on UB's offensive line and for his outstanding efforts in the classroom, where he holds a 3.57 grade point average as a dual major in Math and Economics.

Mills was part of an offensive line that saw running back Aaron Leeper (Jamestown, NY/Jamestown) break every freshman rushing record en route to being named the MAC Freshman of the Year. He was also voted for the second straight year to the Verizon District I Academic All-American team.

A member of UB's prestigious honors program, Mills has started every game for the past two seasons. He has been a member of UB's Dean List and has been selected as a UB Scholar-Athlete after each of his semesters at the University.

He was part of a 27-man team that featured nine other offensive linemen tabbed by the Faculty Athletic Representatives from each of the 14 MAC football-playing schools.
