Feldmaier Asks for Leave from Football ProgramBUFFALO, NY - Junior quarterback Billy Feldmaier (Birmingham, MI/Seaholm) has asked for a leave from the University at Buffalo football team this spring according to head coach Craig Cirbus. "Billy told me that basically his heart wasn't into football right now and he really wanted to examine football and his education and career path at this time," said Cirbus. "I respected his decision and wished him the best. He has been a very positive member of our football team and a quality student-athlete at the University at Buffalo. We wish him the best." Feldmaier started two games in 1998 and played in seven games total. He completed 16-of-31 passes for 160 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions. For his UB career he completed 26-of-58 passes for 329 yards with four interceptions and no touchdowns. |
