As a Certified Dartfish Instructor, Kathy has worked with groups such as USA Soccer to help coaches expand their coaching toolbox to maximize the use of video-based feedback to improve sport performance.

Adding Video-Based Feedback and Analysis to Your Coaching Toolbox
Feedback is information about a performance and the factors responsible for it. It provides information and guidance, creates associations and provides motivation. Video-based feedback provides an athlete with a visual of their performance. Research has shown the most effective method is to provide the athlete video-feedback as soon after a performance as possible. It is also beneficial for the athlete to see video footage of the proper technique. This presentation will discuss the value of providing video-based feedback to enhance an athlete's performance. Tips and tricks to effectively insert video-based feedback into your coaching routine will also be presented allowing you to take full advantage of this technology in sport.
