PRIZES:

First: Trophy and $50 Dick's Sporting Goods gift certificate to each team member
Second: Individual trophy for each team member
Third: Individual trophy for each team member

DEADLINE:

Deadline to submit registration form in order to be entered into tournament is FRIDAY, MARCH 21

AGE BRACKET RULE:

Each team will have the opportunity to have one (1) of the four (4) players on its roster be one (1) year younger than the age bracket in which they choose to compete. (Example: for the 13-14 bracket, one player can be 12 Years old). A player cannot be older than the age bracket in which they are competing unless their birthday occurs on April 5 or 6.

*EXCEPTION: For Men 30-39 & Master 40+ Only: players are allowed to play down one age division.

ENTRY FEE & DEADLINE:

Complete entry fee must accompany the team application and be postmarked no later than Friday, March 21. The $136 fee may be paid by check, money order or certified check payable to UB Athletics. Applications received without fee will be returned and team will not be made eligible until fee is paid.

REGISTRATION:

Each participant must sign the completed registration form and sign at his/her respective area to signify his/her agreement with the information provided as well as the waiver of liability. Incomplete or ineligible forms will be returned.

TEAM ROSTERS:

All teams are required to have at least three players listed on their roster. Roster changes WILL NOT be allowed after entry deadline and those made prior to deadline must be received in writing with a $5 processing fee included.

ONE ROSTER:

Players may appear/play on only one team. Individuals violating this rule will be automatically disqualified from the tournament.

FORMAL REGISTRATION:

One player, preferably the team captain, can register for the entire team and pick up the important registration packet which will include your first-round schedule, hats, rules, coupons, and tournament wristbands. Team captains will recieve a letter approzimately one week prior to the tournament with instructions regarding registration location, date and time.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY:

The information provided on the application must be accurate. Players will be randomly checked during the tournament to ensure proper registration and age.

TEAM CANCELLATION:

Teams dropping out of the tournament after registration may cause some teams to play less than three games.

COED TEAMS:

All coed teams will be placed in the male divisions.

5-SECOND RULE:

We utilize the 5-second possession rule.

TEAM FOULS:

Team fouls will be counted; following 10 team fouls, foul shots will be awarded and result in one point.

REQUIRED:

Each team must bring a basketball and 2 sets of jerseys; one light colored jersey/t-shirt & one dark colored jersey/t-shirt and be prepared to change at the officials discretion. Uniform changes must be done during warmup period.

WRISTBANDS GIVEN AT REGISTRATION MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES DURING THE TOURNAMENT. PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE PROPER IDENTIFICATION, WITH PROOF OF AGES, AT COURTSIDE DURING THE TOURNAMENT. RANDOM CHECK OF PLAYERS WILL TAKE PLACE TO ENSURE THE INTEGRITY OF THE TOURNAMENT.

ACCEPTABLE IDENTIFICATION:

AGES 19-UNDER - Birth Certificate, Report Card, License
AGES 20-UP - Driver's License, Town/City ID (Photo ID Required)
