2006-07: Placed third in 800m (1:52.76) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Finished 12th in the 800m (1:54.59) and helped Bulls to a third-place finish in the 4x400 relay (3:20.76) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Had two top-10 cross country finishes. Earned Academic All-MAC for indoor and outdoor track and field. 2005-06: Placed third in the 800m (1:54.12) at the MAC Outdoor Championships and fourth (1:54.44) at the Indoor Championships. Set top 800m indoor time (1:53.50), finishing 12th at the IC4A meet. Part of two record-setting indoor relay teams and helped the 4x100 team finish second at the MAC meet. Finished 45th (26:45) at the MAC Cross Country Championships. 2004-05: Posted a second-place finish in the 800m (1:51.11) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Ran the anchor leg of UB’s 4x400 relay (3:20.96) at the MAC meet. Finished 12th in the indoor 800m at the MAC Championships. 2003-04: Set the indoor 1,000m record (2:27.22). Finished eighth in the 800m (1:57.14) at the MAC Indoor Championships. High School: Earned four letters at Canisius High School for coach Brian Lombardo. The 2003 state 800m champion. and set school record in the event. Personal: Born March 7, 1985. Son of Robert and Mary Riley. Has five brothers (Michael, Patrick, Dan, Chris, Charles) and two sisters (Mary Beth, Kathy). Sister Mary Beth was named the first-ever NCAA Woman of the Year in 1991 while attending Canisius College. Graduated with an English degree in 2007 and is working on his master’s in education.
