Bulls Fare Well In Chicago

Buffalo traveled to Chicago, IL, to participate in the Lakefront Invitational hosted by Loyola University. The women placed fifth (108 points) out of 13 Division I teams. The men also finished fifth (136 points) out of a field of 12.

Junior Eileen Rose (Latham, NY/Shaler) crossed the line first for UB at 18:55 for a 13th-place finish out of 143 runners in the women's 5,000 meter race. Senior Casey Spencer (Corning, NY/Corning-Painted Post West) finished in 17th place (19:02). Junior Tony David (Lima, NY/Honeoye Falls-Lima) earned yet another top-ten finish as he was UB's top male finisher in the race. He placed seventh out of a field of 132 Division I runners with a time of 25:19.

UB Sees Some MAC Action

While at the Lakefront Invitational, the Bulls faced MAC compeitors from Marshall and Ball State. Buffalo last saw conference runners at the Pre-MAC Invite at Kent (9/17) where the women placed sixth and the men seventh. UB has two more meets to prepare for the MAC Championship at Kent (10/30).
