UB Men Finish Fifth at MACs

Slick, Ludden earn All-MAC honors

YPSILANTI, MI - The University at Buffalo's men's cross country team finished fifth Saturday afternoon at the Mid-American Conference Championships at the Eagle Crest Golf Course in Ypsilanti, Mich. The Bulls scored 135 points in the 12-team men's championship. Host Eastern Michigan won the title for the second consecutive year with 30 total points.

The fifth-place finish by the Bulls' men was a vast improve on last season's MAC meet where the team placed 10th.

In the MAC Women's Championship meet, the Bulls placed 11th of 13 schools for the third straight season with 271 points. Toledo took the title with 71 points.
