BUFFALO, NY – After slipping out of the rankings last week, the University at Buffalo's women's cross country team reentered the top 15 poll for the Northeast region according to the latest rankings released by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The Bulls are ranked 15th in the Northeast regional poll after their strong performance last weekend at the Bowling Green Falcon Invitational where they posted a third-place team finish behind Mid-American Conference members Bowling Green and Toledo. Both the Falcons and Rockets are among six MAC members in the current Great Lakes Region poll.

UB entered the regional rankings at number 12 in the USTFCCCA's first poll of the season on September 29 and then slipped two spots to number 14 in the October 6 poll. The Bulls were not included in the third weekly poll dated October 13. Stony Brook retained the number one ranking for the third consecutive week.

The Bulls are idle this weekend. They return to the cross country course for the beginning of their postseason schedule at the MAC Championships in Ypsilanti, MI on November 1.
