Bulls Reenter Men's Cross Country Regional Poll Squad retains number 15 ranking in USTFCCCA fourth week rankings
BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo’s men’s cross country team reentered the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's poll this week ranked number 15 in the Northeast Region. The fourth weekly poll was released on Tuesday morning. The Bulls were ranked 15th in the preseason poll, released on September 15, but slipped out of the rankings before returning to the number 15 spot this week. Last weekend, the Bulls finished fifth among 19 squads at the Bowling Green Falcon Invitational. The Bulls finished behind a trio of squads in the current Great Lakes Regional rankings, Kent State (10), Eastern Michigan (12) and Oakland (15). This is the fourth week of polling for the 2009 season. The next poll will be released on October 26 and continue every Monday through the end of the season. The UB women spent three weeks in the 2008 regional poll reaching a high of number 12. The Bulls conclude their regular season on Friday, October 23 at the Cornell Reif Invitational. Cornell is ranked sixth in the Northeast Region. The Mid-American Conference Championships at Ohio University are October 31.
