Freshman (07-08): Head of the Genesee (Open Four A, 5th of 13) -- Syracuse Invitational (Novice Eight A, 3rd of 7) -- Bucknell (Second Varsity Eight, 2nd of 2) -- Knecht Cup (Second Varsity Eight, 4th of 18) -- Harvey Cup (Second Varsity Eight, 1st of 4) -- Metro Cup (Second Varsity Eight, 3rd of 11) -- Dad Vail (Second Varsity Eight, 3rd of 26).

Career Highlights: Has won three gold medals at the New York State Rowing Championships, picking up medals in the novice eight, club eight and club four... finished as the top American crew in the junior eights at the 2006 Royal Canadian Henley... helped lead her crew to an eighth place finish out of 62 boats at the Head of the Charles Regatta in 2006 and finished 11 of 22 at the US Rowing Youth National Championships... also competed in the World Indoor Rowing Championships in 2005 and 2006.

Personal: Full name is Sasha Bailey... born September 4, 1989... daughter of Thomas and Melissa Bailey.. has three sisters, Dehlia, Vanessa, Anna... majoring in Exercise Science... was also recruited by Cincinnati and Syracuse, but chose UB because it was close to home and it offered many majors.
