The Varsity Fours placed third behind two Syracuse boats, which placed exactly one second of each other in times of 21:31 and 21:32, respectively. The Buffalo B boat, rowed by coxswain Sher Briggs (St. Catharines, Ontario/West Park SS), Melina DiCosimo (Niagara Falls, Ontario/St. Paul), Natalie Pugliese (Niagara Falls, Ont./St. Paul’s), Corinne Blum (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) and Nicki Cyr (Groton, NY/Dryden) finished within a few lengths to take third place in a time of 22:05.
