In the Bulls' first race of the day, the Women's Open Four+ took second place with a final time of 13:52.98. They were duked by Williams College by a few strokes with a time of 13:38.63. The boat consisted of coxswain Sher Briggs (St. Catharines, Ontario/West Park SS), Corinne Blum (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland), Nicki Cyr (Groton, NY/Dryden), Natalie Pugliese (Niagara Falls, Ont./St. Paul's) and Melina Dicosimo (Niagara Falls, Ontario/St. Paul). The other two UB entires in the women's open 4+ placed sixth and 13th out of a field of 38.
