Lightweight Eight Competes At Head of the Charles
The lightweight eight boat was comprised of coxswain Sarah McCann (Fayetteville, NY/Fayetteville-Manlius) and rowers Diana Minardo (Rochester, NY/Webster), Diane Passenant (Lake Ronkonkoma, NY/Sachem North), Andrea Patterson (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls), Beth Gaworecki (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker), Stevie Feig (Long Beach, NY/Long Beach), Maureen Jones (Irondequoit, NY/Irondequoit), Regina Yazbeck (Rochester, NY/Brighton) and Jessica Lau (Brooklyn, NY/Brooklyn). The team, which finished sixth amongst other collegiate crews, finished with an adjusted time of 18:33.443. The London Training Center took the top time at 16:15.442 and the top collegiate finisher was Princeton at 17:18.602. The Bulls did finish above crews from Lehigh, Radcliffe, Massachusetts and Penn State.
The Bulls will be back in action this Saturday, Oct. 27 as they race at the Head of the Schuylkill in Philadelphia, PA.
