Weekend Crew Races Cancelled

Inclement weather forces cancellation of New York State Championships

BUFFALO, NY - A weekend of rainy and windy weather forced the cancellation of the New York State Championships at Whitney Point. The University at Buffalo varsity and novice crew squads had been expected to make a strong showing at the meet. The Bulls will field several entries in next Sunday's Metro Cup Championships in Worcester, MA. UB tied for third at last year's Metro Cup in Camden, NJ as 10 of the Northeast's top programs competed for regional supremacy.
