UB's varsity and novice crews participated in five events over the two-day regatta held on Walker Lake in Troxllville, PA this past weekend. The novice four earned a silver medal by placing second out of a field of five in the A final. Two varsity fours finished first and second in the B finals. All three crews qualified for final events during preliminary heats. Also after qualifying for final events in heat races, the varsity eight finished first in the B Finals and the novice eight was fifth in their events.

Both days of racing were plagued by poor weather condidtions which resulted in racing delays. The finals of the four-oared events were postponed from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning and Sunday's events were delayed because of high winds and choppy waters.
