Crew Regatta Called Off Due to Weather

Spring rowing season-opener put on hold

BUFFALO, NY - The University at Buffalo's women's crew season-opener at the University of Rhode Island, scheduled for Sunday, March 23, has been called off due to imperfect weather conditions. Heavy ice conditions over the past several weeks have prevented crew teams from practicing on the water. No make-up date has been scheduled for the event. UB is now expected to hit the water for the first time this spring on Saturday, March 29 as they travel to Ithaca for a regatta with Marist and the host Bombers.
