Matching Gifts
Many employers will match contributions their employees make to charitable and educational organizations. Contact your employer's human resources department for information about matching gift programs.

Gifts Of Donated Stock or Property
A gift of appreciated stock is an excellent means of support. The transfer process is not complicated, and it can provide donor with several tax advantages.

Gifts In-Kind
Donations made of gifts or services also qualify as gift credit. Items and services that would normally be purchased by the Division of Athletics may qualify as a charitable gift. In-kind gifts are credited at fair market value and must be approved by the Division of Athletics.

Planned Gifts
A development staff representative will be happy to meet with you or your finanacial advisor to discuss the numerous planned giving vehicles available to individual donors. Common types of Planned Gifts include: bequests, life insurance policies, charitable gift annuities, estate and trust arrangements.

Tax Deductibility
All gifts to UB Athletics are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The deductability of your gift may be affected by any benefits you receive. As with any charitable gift, please consult your tax advisor to determine your deduction.
