Junior College: Played two season for Sam Carel at Jefferson College... Played both second base and shortstop for the Vikings... Was named First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Region as a sophomore... Helped Jefferson win a regional championship and finish second in the district tournament.
High School: Earned three letters playing for head coach Charlie Meeker at St. Charles High School... A two-year captain, helping to lead the Pirates to a second place finish in the state tournament as a senior... Played both catcher and second base... Named First Team All-Conference, First Team All-Metro and All-State Honorable Mention as a senior... Also played soccer and basketball in high school.
