BUFFALO, NY The University at Buffalo baseball team handed out its season-ending awards to four players who played integral parts to the success of the UB baseball team in 2004.

Receiving awards from head coach Bill Breene and his staff were junior Joe Mihalics (Tonawanda, NY/Timon/St. Jude), sophomore James Kingsley (Medina, NY/Medina), freshman Mark Tourangeau (Oakville, Ontario/Queen Elizabeth Park) and freshman Bryan Thrasher (Utica, NY/Proctor).

Mihalics earned Most Valuable Player honors after his record-breaking season. The junior shortstop led the team in batting average (.349), runs (43), hits (76), triples (5) and stolen bases (7).
