The Bulls got on the scoreboard first with a run in the second inning. Phil Vanhorne (Scarborough, Ontario/Mother Teresa) brought home Eric Huber (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) with a bases-loaded single. The Bulls collected five hits in the game as Bryan Sanchez (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua Academy) and Brandon DiCesare (Rochester, NY/McQuaid Jesuit) reached base safely in the sixth and eighth innings, respectively.

Coastal Carolina tied the game in the third as Justin Owens doubled to bring home Chad Felty. The Chanticleers took the lead for good in the fifth with three runs as Owens singled home the go-ahead runs. Owens was 4-for-4 in the game and knocked in three runs.
