BUFFALO, NY - Another Buffalo program first will occur on Mother's Day, as the University at Buffalo baseball team will support its first home radio broadcast from Amherst Audubon Field, as WLVL-AM 1340 will broadcast Sunday's Mid-American contest between the Bulls and Bowling Green, with first pitch coming in at 1:00 pm.

The broadcast, which can also be accessed online through BuffaloBulls.com via Teamline, will feature play-by-play by University at Buffalo athletic communications director Jon Fuller and feature color commentary by athletic communications graduate assistant Joe Guistina. Fuller, now in his fifth year working with the Bulls, has worked with the baseball team for three years. Guistina, a three-time letterwinner as a pitcher at Division III Susquehanna University, will offer color commentary.

Buffalo (13-33 overall, 4-17 MAC) is facing off against Bowling Green (22-23 overall, 9-12 MAC) in the final game of the three-game conference set with the Bulls hoping to play spoiler to the Falcons playoff hopes. Buffalo is led by red-hot senior James Kingsley (Medina, NY/Medina), who has hit at a tremendous .433 (42-for-97) clip in the last month and a half. He enters the weekend set just five RBIs away from breaking the school record of 137, set by Bryan Sanchez from 2000-03. Junior Dan Quinn (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) has continued his surge into one of the league's best backstops, hitting a team-high eight homers and adding 34 RBIs to go along with his .298 average.

The Falcons are fighting to stay alive in the MAC playoff race, finding themselves two games out with six remaining contests, trying to catch and pass Ohio and Western Michigan. Junior Eric Lawson has led the team all year, entering the series hitting .356 with three homers and 22 RBIs.
