Canisius-Buffalo Game Halted Early

No makeup date set for the non-conference game
BUFFALO, NY – Tuesday afternoon's baseball game between the University at Buffalo and Canisius College was halted in the bottom of the third inning due to unsportsmanlike conduct. By mutual agreement, the game will not be continued.

"The University at Buffalo Department of Athletics in no way condones the actions that took place in Tuesday’s baseball game," UB's Athletics Director Warde Manuel said. "It was an unfortunate situation that is not indicative of our athletic program or the baseball team. The department will be fully investigating the situation."

The Bulls next hit the field on Friday with a 3:00 pm Mid-American Conference tilt at Western Michigan.
