BUFFALO, NY - Bowling Green took the rubber game of a three-game series with Buffalo, 7-2, on Sunday afternoon at Amherst Audubon Field.

Nolan Reimold stroked a two-run single in the top of the first inning to give Bowling Green a 2-0 lead. It was one of four hits on the day for the Falcons' right fielder. The Bulls answered with two runs of their own in the bottom of the first inning as Steve Legrett (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua) drove in Al Barbato (Utica, NY/Whitesboro) on a fielder's choice and later scored on a Bowling Green error. The Falcons added two more runs in the top of the third inning on a two-run home run by Andy Hudak. Bowling Green went ahead, 5-2, in the top of the seventh inning following an RBI single by Jeff Warnock. The Falcons' final two runs of the game came in the top of the ninth inning on an RBI ground out by Warnock and an RBI single by Hudak.

Eric Kelly (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca East) got the start on the mound for the Bulls and allowed five runs on 10 hits and struck out three over seven innings. Burke Badenhop allowed an earned run over eight innings to earn the win for Bowling Green.

With the win, Bowling Green improved to 16-7 overall and 5-4 in the MAC. Buffalo fell to 7-20 overall and 1-4 in the conference. The Bulls return to action on Tuesday when they play a doubleheader at Duquesne.
