Bulls-Purple Eagles Game Postponed

The Bulls (5-20 overall) will make up the game with the Purple Eagles (12-13 overall) on Wednesday, May 17, with the time and place of the game between the local rivals yet to be determined.

Buffalo scored two first-inning runs in the frigid game as sophomore Mike Folli (Endicott, NY/Union-Endicott) and freshman Eric Flynn (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) led off with walks before senior Carl Aquila (Alden, NY/St. Mary's/Erie CC) drove them in with a single up the middle.

Niagara fought back with five runs in the bottom of the inning before adding another run in the bottom of the second.

Folli also added a third-inning double as the Bulls laoded the bases in the frame before the game was called as snow started to fall harder.

Buffalo faces Niagara on Wednesday in a scheduled nine-inning game at Amherst Audubon Field, with first pitch coming at 2:00 pm.
