MT. PLEASANT, MI – The University at Buffalo baseball team dropped the final game of a three-game set against Central Michigan, falling 10-0, Sunday afternoon at Theunissen Stadium. The loss drops UB’s record to 1-15 on the season and 0-3 in conference play.

Sophomore Zach Anderson (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville East) got the start for the Bulls and pitched three scoreless innings before Central Michigan struck in the bottom of the fourth. The Chippewas scored two runs in the frame and never looked back.

The big blow for Central Michigan came in the bottom of the sixth inning when the Chippewas scored seven runs. Anderson picked up the loss going 5.2 innings and allowing seven runs, just four of them earned. Anderson struck out three Central Michigan batters, but picked his first loss of the season. CMU added one more run in the seventh inning.
