Rodney
Pierce (Buffalo, NY/Hutch Tech)
of the men's basketball team scored a career-high 29 points in UB's
71-65 win at Wisconsin-Green Bay. Pierce went a perfect 6-for-6 from
the charity stripe, while adding three rebounds and a steal. Pierce
leads the Bulls in scoring this season.
Jessica
Fortman (Ashland, KY/Russell)
of the women's basketball team scored a career-high 25 points in UB's
85-72 loss at Delaware. Fortman scored 20 of her 25 points in the
second half as she went 8-for-10 from the free throw line. Fortman
added five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal against the
Blue Hens. Fortman is currently second on the team in scoring.
