Athletes of the Week - 12/26/2005
Yassin Idbihi (Tangier, Morocco/Schloss Hagerhoff) of the men's basketball team scored a game-high 21 points in the Bulls, 68-67, victory over Elon. Idbihi recorded a double-double with 12 rebounds in the game. Idbihi is currently second on the team with 14.1 points per game, but leads UB in the rebounding department, pulling down 7.1 boards per game.
Brooke Meunier (Saginaw, MI/Heritage) of the women's basketball team tied her career high with 25 points in the Bulls' overtime loss to Oakland. Meunier hit a game-high nine field goals and shot 4-of-7 from behind the arc. Meunier also led the team with five assists in the game. For the season, Meunier leads the Bulls with 15.0 points per game, currently fifth in the conference. Meunier is also third on the team in rebounds per game (6.0) and second in assists (4.25).
