ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Rob Brown (Detroit, MI/Oak Park) of the men's basketball team scored in double figures in all three of Buffalo's games last week at the Yahoo! Sports Invitational at BYU-Hawaii. Brown averaged 16 points and six rebounds in the three games, and he had a double-double with game highs of 26 points and 11 rebounds in an 87-80 loss to Valparaiso.

Virginia Jennings (Nashville, MI/Hastings) of the women's basketball team led the Bulls to two wins last week, at East Carolina and at home against Seton Hall. Jennings had a season-high 17 points at East Carolina, and she had seven points, seven rebounds and a career-high eight assists against Seton Hall. She also hit late free throws in both games (eight at ECU, six versus Seton Hall) to secure the Bulls' victories.
