Athletes of the Week - 12/04/2006

Yassin Idbihi (Tangier, Morocco/Schloss Hagerhof) of the men's basketball team averaged 16 points and 13 rebounds as the Bulls scored wins over Temple and Niagara. The senior forward scored 12 points and tied a career high with 14 rebounds against Temple and followed with 20 points while pulling down 12 rebounds in UB’s win over Niagara. He now has four double-doubles on the season.

 

 

Kourtney Brown (Solon, OH/Solon) of the women's basketball team set career-highs in points and rebounds in UB's two contests. The freshman posted career-bests with 12 points and nine rebounds against Cleveland State. She duplicated her 12 point performance in UB's win over Niagara and added six rebounds. She also had a career-best tying three steals against the Purple Eagles.
